Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are uncertain about any part of these Terms, please contact us at support@myteachersays.com before ordering.
Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of goods from My Teacher Says Ltd ("we", "us", "our") by you ("you", "your").

Interpretation
3. "Consumer" means an individual acting outside their trade, business, craft, or profession.
4. "Contract" means the legally binding agreement between you and us for the sale of Goods.
5. "Delivery Location" means the delivery address specified in your Order.
6. "Goods" means the products supplied by us to you.
7. "Order" means your order for Goods submitted to us via our website or other remote means.
Goods
8. Goods descriptions are provided via our website, catalogues, brochures, or advertisements. Minor discrepancies (e.g., colour or size) may occur.
9. Where Goods are made to your specifications or personalised, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your instructions.
Basis of Sale
10. Product listings are invitations to treat and not offers to sell.
11. We may reject any Order for any reason.
12. A Contract is formed when we send you an email confirming acceptance of your Order.
13. Any quotation is valid for 7 days unless withdrawn earlier.
14. Variations to the Contract require written agreement by both parties.
15. These Terms apply where you are purchasing as a Consumer remotely.
Price and Payment
16. Prices and charges are as shown on our website at the time of Order acceptance.
17. All prices are currently VAT-free. VAT is not charged at this time.
18. You must pay in full when placing your Order, using credit/debit card or other accepted methods.
Delivery
19. We aim to deliver Goods within 30 days of Contract formation.
20. Any delivery dates provided are estimates only. We do not guarantee delivery dates, and time is not of the essence in the performance of delivery obligations.
21. We do not accept any customer requests for guaranteed delivery dates unless we have expressly agreed to such guarantee in writing signed by an authorised representative of My Teacher Says Ltd.
22. Where Goods form a "commercial unit" (a set of items sold together that cannot be divided without reducing their value), partial cancellation may not be possible.
23. We do not generally deliver outside the UK mainland. If we do, import duties and taxes are your responsibility.
24. We may deliver Goods in instalments.
25. If you fail to accept delivery without our fault, we may charge reasonable storage and redelivery fees.
26. Responsibility for Goods passes to you upon delivery.
Risk and Title
27. Risk of loss or damage passes to you at delivery.
28. Title to the Goods remains with us until payment is received in full.
Withdrawal and Cancellation Rights
29. You may withdraw your Order any time before we confirm acceptance.
30. As a Consumer, you have the right to cancel a Contract made at a distance (e.g., online) within 14 days without giving any reason, except for personalised or custom-made Goods.
31. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you (or your nominee) receive the Goods.
32. To exercise the right to cancel, contact us at support@myteachersays.com.
33. We will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except additional costs for non-standard delivery), within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods (or evidence of return).
34. You are responsible for the cost of returning the Goods unless they are faulty.
35. Goods must be returned unused and in original condition. We may reduce your refund if handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the Goods has occurred.
36. Personalised or custom-made Goods cannot be cancelled or returned unless they are faulty. If personalised Goods are faulty, we will repair or replace them, or if that is not possible, provide a full refund.
Returns and Refunds
37. Faulty Goods: If Goods are faulty, damaged, or misdescribed, you have statutory rights to a repair, replacement, or refund.
38. To initiate a return, email support@myteachersays.com with your Order details.
39. We will process eligible refunds within 14 days of receipt of returned Goods.
40. Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.
Conformity and Guarantee
41. We are legally obliged to supply Goods that are in conformity with the Contract.
42. Goods supplied will:
- Be of satisfactory quality;
- Be fit for any purpose you made known to us;
- Match the description provided.
43. Manufacturer warranties (if applicable) are provided in addition to your legal rights.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
44. We are not liable for any failure to perform due to unforeseen events beyond our reasonable control.
45. Obligations are suspended for the duration of such events.
Privacy
46. We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
47. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

Excluding Liability
49. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
50. Subject to the above, we are not liable for losses not foreseeable at the time of contract, or for losses related to your business activities.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
51. These Terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
52. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts unless you reside elsewhere in the UK, in which case you may bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.

53. We aim to resolve disputes quickly and amicably. Please email support@myteachersays.com, and we will respond within 5 working days.
