Refund policy

Changed your mind?

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to tell us you would like to return it. Email support@myteachersays.com before you send anything back and we will give you the return address.

Once you have told us, you then have a further 14 days to post the item back to us.

Condition of the item. You are welcome to open your order and have a proper look at your stamp, just as you would handle it in a shop. If it has been used or handled beyond that and has lost value as a result, we may reduce your refund to reflect it.

Return postage. You cover the cost of sending it back to us, unless the item is faulty or is not what you ordered, in which case we will cover it.

Your refund. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back, or of you providing proof that it has been sent. That includes the standard delivery charge you paid on the original order.

Personalised stamps

Stamps that are personalised are made specifically for you, so they cannot be returned or refunded if you have changed your mind.

Please do double-check your spelling and wording before you check out. We make your stamp exactly as it is written on your order.

A stamp that matches the details you gave us — however you sent them, at checkout, in your order notes, by email or on a school order form — is not a faulty stamp. If the mistake was in those details, we are not able to offer a return, replacement or refund.

This does not affect your rights if a personalised stamp arrives faulty, damaged or wrong. See below.

Something wrong with your order

If anything is missing, damaged or faulty, please email support@myteachersays.com with your name, your order number and a photograph of the problem. Get in touch within 7 days of delivery, and we will get it put right quickly.

If a stamp is faulty, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund, and we will cover the postage both ways. This applies to personalised stamps too.

Gift cards

Gift cards can be cancelled for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as they have not been used. Once a gift card has been redeemed, it is non-refundable.

School and organisation orders

The change-of-mind rights on this page are consumer rights. School and organisation orders are business purchases, so they do not apply to those orders — see our Terms of service. Goods that arrive faulty, damaged or incorrect will always be repaired, replaced or refunded, whoever ordered them.

Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page affects your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have 30 days from delivery to reject faulty goods for a full refund, and rights to a repair or replacement after that. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days to cancel most online orders. Free guidance is available from Citizens Advice.
